N&W are out in force at Vendex and the company’s message at the National Motorcycle Museum is a simple one: ‘when it comes to coffee dispensing, fresh milk machines and touch-screen technology is the future’.
Having said that, there’s more to N&W’s Vendex presence than great coffee, as we’ll see, but for now, Technical Director Craig Jukes turns his attention to Independent coffee shop operators.

‘It could be argued that before the introduction of Karisma, the only option open to a café proprietor determined to provide customers with a top-quality coffee experience was a ‘traditional’ espresso machine,’ he said. ‘These machines can deliver fantastic drinks, it’s true; but they do have their drawbacks.
‘To begin with, staff have to be trained thoroughly to operate then. Because they function at such high pressure, there are Health & Safety issues to consider before you even start to create the perfect drink. Then, there are the expensive and obligatory ‘service agreements’ that generally accompany the acquisition of ‘traditional’ machines.’
Even that doesn’t guarantee quality. ‘Small, family-run cafés sometimes struggle with inconsistency’, Craig said. ‘The availability of a particularly gifted barista can have a tangible impact on quality standards. Karisma overcome that problem without compromising on quality or taste. Come and see how, at Vendex.’

The new ‘Prime’ versions of Koro and Korinto will share ‘star’ billing with Karisma.

Remember we said there’ll be ‘more than great coffee’ on the N&W Stands 24/25 ‘The Wittenborg 9100 can now brew the perfect cup of tea’, Craig said ‘and we’re inviting Vendex visitors to experience our ‘tea taste test’ for themselves. It’s a real eye-opener.’

Samba Touch, equipped with ETL and a touch screen, will be on duty and ‘we’ll also have Tango, Melodia and Solista at Vendex Midlands’, Craig said. ‘But that’s because other exhibitors have chosen to use our machines on their stands to display their own products to maximum effect.’
