The University of Sheffield will be retendering the contract for the delivery of a vending concessions service for students, staff and visitors in 2015. ‘We are using this opportunity to fundamentally re-think our vending requirements, stimulate eco-innovation and explore alternative methods of service’, said Jessica Osowski, Category Manager Procurement, Finance and Commercial.
The University has joined forces with Johnson Matthey Fuel Cells who are part of a European Project INNOCAT and together they have brought on board other Universities and organisations interested in increasing energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions that arise from vending operations.
‘We are currently at the market sounding phase and would appreciate Planet Vending’s help in communicating our project to as many stakeholders as possible’, Jessica said.
Jessica, nuff said! Vending operators can access the information they require here.
