Televend, SV365 Technologies and Sodexo Combine to Offer ‘Unique 24/7 Fresh Food Concept’

Televend, the leading European automated retail solution and a long-term partner of SV 365 Technologies and Sodexo, has notched another win in the UK Market. The latest collaboration involves Televend’s AI technology, SV 365’s high-end fresh food machines and Sodexo’s renowned FM system I the creation of unique, 24/7 fresh food concept.

TelevendThis smart solution serves hot and cold food, on demand, at private and public facilities, such as hospitals and corporate buildings. The choices available are freshly made, nutritionally balanced foods that comply with the NHS National Standards for Food and Drink, including plant-based, cultural, and religious options. Additionally, freshly-baked pizzas, croissants and tasty French fries can be enjoyed, together with a selection of ice desserts and hot meals. Moreover, on-the-go users can also enjoy grab-and-go options like fresh, personalised smoothies, cold drinks, and snacks.

Hot and cold food served 24/7 by AI-driven robots is not the only benefit of this futuristic, unattended restaurant. Televend is the backbone of the system that tracks each sale, error, and transaction in real time, making sure that machines are always working and selling.

How does that work? Televend’s telemetry collects all the data from machines and sends it to the AI-based Televend Cloud, where it is converted into user-friendly reports, which are forwarded to the Sodexo system, for further reporting and controlling management.

SV365 Technologies predicts how many products need to be packed for restocking, with Televend’s pre-kitting system. This generates a picking list for warehouse workers, so they can box orders for individual customers right there in the warehouse. That way, merchandisers don’t need to waste time packing the vans…

Televend also brings a closed-loop cashless payment to this project. Public users can pay at the food machines with their phones and cards, making the then purchasing experience even more effortless: there’s no need to carry cash, wallets, purses…

Employers can incentivise employees to spend lunchtime on the premises, (and thereby maximise their productivity) with Televend’s loyalty and engagement solution. For example, they can provide funds to fully subsidise employee purchases, or introduce various promotions and discounts when they’re buying food or drinks from the machines.

The concept brings a new perspective to unattended food in private or public environments. It combines the quality and variety of food choices and the convenience of availability and cashless payments for users. With all these benefits, we are sure this is the future of unattended retail and fresh food vending.
