
North West Vending has been awarded a vending contract covering five NHS Trusts, by the Lancashire Procurement Cluster (LPC).
According to NIVO, North West Vending is the first vending operator to be awarded a multi-trust aggregation opportunity for five trusts. The apointment was made on completion of a mini-tender process, using the Food Vending Solutions framework agreement by NHS Supply Chain.
The collaboration will see North West Vending working closely with the NHS Supply Chain to service a vending estate that comprises services in Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust.
By partnering with NIVO member North West Vending, the LCP is poised to benefit from the deployment of digitally enabled smart and traditional vending services.
