NIVO Golf: Steve Wins Again!

PICTURED: Vendman’s Steve Reynolds receives his trophy from NIVO boss Graham Kingaby

July 10th saw a lull in the heatwave that had been scorching the country, meaning a somewhat cooler day for the 68 ‘golfers’ who gathered at Oulton Hall, Leeds for the third NIVO golf day hosted by this fabulous venue. Golfers of varying abilities teed off, some hoping to win others simply hoping not to be caught by the golf pro and his video camera, but all were hoping to network, build relationships and create opportunities.

After the final golfers were in, there was the chance to catch up with the cricket whilst enjoying a drink in the Claret Jug. Then it was time to get the glad rags on and an evening of good food, great company and big laughs ensued.
Once again a great night followed a great day and the winners and runners up were presented with their prizes.

Congratulations go to Steve Reynolds from Vendman who was the individual winner for the second year running and Ian Mitchell from Mars, Stefan Searle from Sanden Vendo, Ian Forde from Snacktime and John Hutton from Mars who were the team winners. The combined charitable efforts of all those present on the night raised an amazing £1910.00 for the RNIB, NIVO’s nominated charity!  Graham Kingaby NIVO MD said “We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everybody for attending, supporting and enjoying this day and helping to make it the fabulous event it has become, it truly is a team effort”.
Congratulations also go to:
Runner Up Team – Alec Upton (The Upton Group), Stephen Gallagher (Gem Vending), Peter Wilkes (Wilkes Group), John Broderick Senior (Manchester Vending)
Runner Up Individual – Craig Holt (Northbridge Vending)
Longest Drive – Scott Pickavance (Fusion Mobile)
Nearest the Pin – Norman Kears (Spa vending)

*NIVO will announce next year’s date and venue in the next few weeks!
