Maryland Minis is the Number One product in the crowded Minis sector of the market

Maryland Minis: By Adam O’Brien

Hello everyone

This is my first pass at creating a publishable blog post, so please bear with me because I’ve got some pretty impressive news to share with you about our Maryland Minis range.

The public’s awareness of this fabulous brand is on the up and up. New data indicates that it’s at a record high of 79%. What’s even more staggering is that Maryland Minis are bought by one third – one third! –  of all UK households and that makes it the Number One product in the crowded Minis sector of the market.

I’m surprised and delighted at these findings but in all honesty, I shouldn’t be; because, after all, this massively popular line ticks three equally important boxes.

Let’s take convenience first. The individually wrapped packs are the perfect size for on the go snacking. They slip easily into your pocket, not to mention your lunchbox or your picnic hamper! And then, there’s portion control. A Maryland Minis pack offers just the right amount for a treat that can stem those hunger pangs at whatever time of the day they come after you. Most of all, maybe, it’s the fun size of Maryland Minis that people love so much. They pack the same, unique flavour punch of the larger version, but in a bite sized format. And it’s not only kids that like that, the grown ups love it too, although they might not admit it!

Maryland MinisThe numbers bear this out: the Maryland Cookies brand in total is worth £72m at RSV, of which a wopping  £27m is delivered by Maryland Minis.

It’s always been our vision for the Maryland brand to be a trusted companion that’s enjoyed across the generations when families come together.

I like to think that the brand and I share the same personality: we’re both happy, approachable, positive and welcoming. Well, I would say that, wouldn’t I?

I hope that this has been an informative read for you. Next time, I’ll be turning my attention to Nerds. And before you ask, no, that won’t involve me looking in a mirror.

Until next time, happy vending!

Adam
