Knightsbridge Vends A Taste Of India With Howdah

Knightsbridge Vending, an inaugural member of ‘The UK Vending Guild’ group,  describe themselves as ‘always on the look-out for innovative new products’ and PV discovered that, right now, they’re getting pretty excited by one product in particular …

“We’re very pleased that Falu from Howdah Foods has chosen us to trial their award winning snacks in our vending machines”, Operations Director Paul Knights told PV. “It’s refreshing to see a newcomer come onto the market and not just one of the ‘big boys’ with a redone version of an old product. As a local family business we are always supportive of smaller players in the industry and their Onion Bhaji has already won a Great Taste Award.”

“What sold us on Falu was the uniqueness of their products “, Paul said. We knew immediately knew that they’d make a great addition to our range.”

We understand that ‘the snacks are lovingly made in India’. The ingredients are locally sourced to ensure that the products are authentic; free from preservatives, artificial colours and flavourings too. What’s more, they are 100% vegetarian and many are Gluten free.

“People’s tastes are more exotic these days”, Paul said, “the average Knightsbridge Vending customer is always on the lookout for something that’s different and authentic. We think they’re going to love this new range. We’ve had a great response from our customers and we hope this encourages more independent food producers to introduce their fresh, new and exciting products to the vending sector.”

Falu Howdah is equally excited at the new venture. “These are exciting times for Howdah as we put the products into vending for the first time”, she said. “We  chose  Knightsbridge Vending to trial the products as they are a company who are well respected and trusted within the industry and have been established for over 20 years. Paul has been very helpful in passing on advice about how the vending industry works and we’re ready for the challenge.”
