Industry Ramps Up Support For Vendex Midlands

After a hugely successful debut at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham last June, Vendex Midlands returns to the same venue for another action-packed day on April 14, 2015.

Vendex Midlands may be a newcomer, but as part of the very popular Vendex series of one-day shows its pedigree is clear. The first Vendex was held in 2003 and the event has continued to grow in stature and popularity ever since. This year is a busy one for vending events, but the level of support committed to Vendex Midlands proves just how much the industry likes, and is willing to support, this one-day format, which has stuck to its roots and its original concept of being a show that presents a level playing field for every exhibitor – large or small. Vendex delivers value-for-money for exhibitors – not to mention visitors ready to place orders for vending products equipment.

Visitor numbers at Vendex events are increasing year-on-year and the latest in the series, Vendex North in Manchester was the best-attended yet and organiser, Phil Reynolds, (pictured), is looking forward to another busy day.

Expect to see the latest equipment from the machine manufacturers themselves, including state-of-the-art coffee kiosks for speciality coffees, technology from payment system providers and vending-specific IT, together with great ideas for snacks and confectionery vending, soft drinks and hot beverages as well as the latest cup designs. Water dispensers will also feature along with peripheral and ancillary items, including spare parts, energy-saving ideas, training & consultancy.

Another Vendex tradition is to introduce new companies and new products to the vending sector and Vendex Midlands will continue in that vein. There is sure to be something new for even the most seasoned vending professional to discover, whilst catching up with old friends and industry colleagues. Vendex Midlands will be packed with ideas and products for vending operators from across the UK, with business being done in the lively and friendly atmosphere that is characteristic of the show.

Vendex shows are easy to access. The National Motorcycle Museum is located just off the M42 south of Birmingham, close to Birmingham Airport and easily reached from the motorway network. Car parking is free as is entry to the event. Visitors will receive a free goody bag with samples provided by exhibitors and there is even a free lunch, not to mention the opportunity to take advantage of the special, one-day-only show offers from exhibitors. Visitors will also qualify for free entry to the museum, which houses the largest collection of Classic Motorcycles in the UK. The show will be open from 10am – 4pm. The next Vendex North will be on November 17, 2015 at Manchester United.
