Last week SCAN COIN hosted its annual sales conference in Ystad, Sweden; the ‘home’ of Henning Mankel’s famous fictional detective, Wallander.
It was an opportunitiy for delegates to celebrate the 50th anniversary of SCAN COIN. Founded whilst England was busy winning the World Cup, SCAN COIN, has become one of today’s leading suppliers of cash processing equipment, system solutions and services.
The annual sales conference is a fantastic opportunity for partners and distributors to get together to enjoy presentations from the SCAN COIN team and customer’s own success stories, as well as looking back over their 50-year history from the very first coin counters all the way up to the latest solutions as well as looking forward to the future s part of the SUZOHAPP Group.
During the afternoon there were a number of seminars hosted by the Vice Presidents of each market segment including Retail, Banking, CCP/Mint, and Service and Software showcasing the latest solutions for each market. In all presentations software integration was highlighted as a key driver to support customer processes in an efficient way.
During the conference SCAN COIN launched its latest note counter, the SC 8220, a high quality value and multi-currency counter that ‘delivers outstanding results at low cost’, allowing users to reduce their manual cash handling and get full control of their cash. SCAN COIN also showed the CDS9-R, the world’s first self-service coin re-cycler for public environments; a completely new banking solution for coin deposit as well as coin dispense.
‘It was busy and successful conference for everyone who attended and the day ended with a great celebration of the 50-year milestone and an awards ceremony’ said Colombo Fasano, SCAN COIN CEO & Group Managing Director. I’d like to thanks to all the partners and distributors who came to the annual Sales meeting and joined us to celebrate the SCAN COIN 50 Year anniversary. It’s an important milestone for us and it was great to be able to look back over 50 years of success and then look forward to the coming years with all their incumbent opportunities.’
