Broderick’s has agreed to donate £20,000 worth of advertising on its 330 Mediavend touchscreen machines to its favourite charity, MacMillan.
Broderick’s won’t be simply be offering ‘coffee and cake’ in support of ‘The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ on 25 September. Instead, the company will be flying the flag for the event, by running the cancer charity’s latest ad on over 330 screens in B&I vending sites across the U.K..

‘It’s pay back time’, MD Johnny Broderick said. ‘Many of us know someone affected by cancer, so for the first time, we’re backing ‘The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ by creating a page on the web site ‘Just Giving’ and by getting together with our partners Benders to raise as much money as we can.’
The company has commissioned 100,000 specially printed green cups in support of the fundraising initiative. The cups highlight Broderick’ social media channels and ‘encourage consumers to get involved’.
‘We would like to thank the suppliers to our coffee bars, in particular Nice Buns Bakery, Noones and Total Food Services for their support’, Johnny said. ‘Together with our High Street partners, Boulevard café and The Bake House, they’ve responded enthusiastically to our invitation to help-out and together, we hope to make a real difference on this important charity’s Big Day.’
