We’re delighted to announce that Vendman has agreed to sponsor a new feature on Planet Vending that we’re sure will add to our growing reputation as ‘Vending’s Best Read’.

‘We see it as our mission at Planet Vending to highlight ‘best practice’ in the vending industry and there’s no better way to do that than to investigate the ‘best practitioners’, said PV Publisher, Yvonne Reynolds-Young. ‘Vending is still much maligned by some and that’s a prejudice that we have to address as an industry. We hope that by highlighting the professionalism and creativity of Britain’s leading vending operators we can re-align customer expectations. That’s why we’re calling the feature ‘The Best Of British.’

The first company to come under PVs spotlight will be Wales’ number-one vending business BVS. We’ve already conducted an in-depth interview with BVS Director Julie Hurran and her comments about operating efficiency, productivity; customer reporting, cash control and stock control will make compelling reading – particular for those working in FM and Foodservice whose responsibilities include vending…

‘I’m delighted to have the opportunity to associate the Vendman brand with this great new feature on Planet Vending’, Rob Little, Vendman’s MD told us (from his holiday sun-lounger!) ‘I’m looking forward to reading the articles.’

The first of our features will appear later this month, when we’ll be in Swansea with Bulk Vending Services (or BVS, as they’re known in the business). We hope you’ll join us in our pursuit of vending excellence.

The Editor

Planet Vending’s Editor is Ian Reynolds-Young and it’s Ian’s unique writing talent that has made PV what it is today – the best read (red) vending blog in the world, and vending’s best read (reed). Ian ‘tripped and fell into vending’, in the capacity of PR executive, before launching a specialist agency, ‘reynoldscopy’, dedicated to the UK Vending business. The company continues to represent the interests of many of the sector’s leading brands.

‘It’s all about telling stories’, he says. ‘We want to make every visit to PV a rewarding experience. By celebrating the achievements of the UK’s operating companies, we’re on a mission to debunk the idea that vending is retailing’s poor relation.’
