Being the UK’s number-one vending software company might represent ‘life in the fast lane’ to most people, but it’s not enough for the guys at Vendman. This year, Stockport’s demons of data have not only bought a racehorse – that’s Mr. Vendman – but they also agreed to sponsor racing driver Dave Newsham during the 2013 British Touring Car Championship.
Welshman Dave, who is Managing Director of Inverness operator Norscott Vending, is competing this season as a member of the Cheshire based Speedworks Motor Sports Team.
‘It was great opportunity to get our name out there’, Vendman MD Rob Little told PV. ‘Norscott Vending is a Vendman customer, so we were delighted to help out. We share a winning habit and we’re enjoying an exciting season.’
Meanwhile, Vendman ‘had a great Vendex’. Steve Reynolds told us: ‘We’ve made a lot of good contacts at the show and we’re looking forward to following them up.’
It was great to see Dave and Vince at Vendex North – it’s a hell of a schlepp from Inverness!
