Premier League Event
Its completely understandable that Phil and Jenny Reynolds, organisers of vending’s favourite show, are feeling very pleased with themselves. This year’s Vendex Midlands was another cracker, a real premier league event, with new products, old faces, and a buzz that is becoming a major feature of the show.
We met a raft of new people, and had some very productive meetings. As we gather more comments and reviews of the show you can be sure that we’ll bring them to you.
‘It may have been the presence of the Premier League Cup, the glamorous vintage costumes, or the beautifully branded Land Rover but the atmosphere was electric at Vendex Midlands this year.
Pristine new coffee machines, eye catching sweet and savoury snacks, hands-on technology and filtration, cleaning and maintenance products stood alongside each other at this one day one-stop shop vending show.
Pre-registrations for the show hit an all-time high of nearly 50% up on last year and visitor numbers reflected this. High visitor numbers were evidenced by aisles packed with people only thirty minutes from doors opening.
Show Director Phil Reynolds commented: “It really has been another great event and we would like to thank all our exhibitors for pulling the stops out again this year and of course the many visitors that make the show so worthwhile.
“As a sponsor of AVA Live, we were delighted to welcome the Automatic Vending Association (AVA) team to Vendex to help promote the event that will take place in London on the 13 June. We look forward to seeing some of the faces here today at the AVA event in the summer.”
Visiting the premier league event, Mathews Thomas from Surrey Vending Ltd and RebelVend UK Ltd commented: “Vendex is the best opportunity to see everything under one roof” while Darren James from Westway Vending Ltd said, “Vendex is absolutely vitally important for us…it gives us the opportunity to feed back requirements from our clients, so that the companies here can look at developing new machines that provide solutions to those problems.”
Vendex North takes place at a new venue, The Centenary Pavilion, Leeds, on 30 October. Exhibitor space has sold out but registration is open HERE
We at PV heard on the grapevine that we are heading to Milton Keynes next year for the southern event – we didn’t get a chance to have this confirmed so if you could get in touch Phil, we’ll let people know for sure.
