Vendex Gets A Grateful ‘Thumbs-Up’ From Allpure

Allpure Filters Ltd has hailed ‘another successful Vendex’ by offering a vote of thanks to the organising team. ‘I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Phil, Jenny; the NIVO ladies and all the team for all their hard work in producing another very worthwhile show’, said Sales and Technical Manager Darren Bradford. ‘Time after time, we know we can rely on Vendex to provide the ideal forum in which to meet our customers and make new contacts.’

Allpure Filters, an independent, family-owned business, is now in its 39th year of supplying domestic end-users, service engineers; commercial water cooler and coffee companies. Darren said: ‘We’re proud to be able to showcase Omnipure water filters as the European Distributor and channel distributors for John Guest and 3M Cuno,. Together, that’s a truly complementary combination of reliable, sensibly priced products.

‘Our range of water filtration medias, including scale treatment and prevention, is expanding all the time’, Darren added, ‘with the Omnipure K series inline and Q / ELF ranges and the 3M Cuno Scalegard Pro family. Our customers appreciate the quality of products and services we provide and in turn, we accept the responsibility of being a reliable supply partner, with the common goal of giving end users the best possible service and enhancing our industry’s image.’

The Editor

Planet Vending’s Editor is Ian Reynolds-Young and it’s Ian’s unique writing talent that has made PV what it is today – the best read (red) vending blog in the world, and vending’s best read (reed). Ian ‘tripped and fell into vending’, in the capacity of PR executive, before launching a specialist agency, ‘reynoldscopy’, dedicated to the UK Vending business. The company continues to represent the interests of many of the sector’s leading brands.

‘It’s all about telling stories’, he says. ‘We want to make every visit to PV a rewarding experience. By celebrating the achievements of the UK’s operating companies, we’re on a mission to debunk the idea that vending is retailing’s poor relation.’

Read this in a couple of sittings. He brings the same clarity and detail to his book as he does to the reports that have made him a well-known and respected figure on the Beeb. I wish we had more journalists like him. But this book is useful well beyond the media world
