It’s been a great week at SV24-7 Vending. The company has won a three year, multi-site contract with NHS Lothian Hospitals. In total, they will service a workforce of around 29,000 staff.
NHS Lothian Hospitals
The UK’s second largest Health Authority, NHS Lothian comprises 21 hospitals, including 4 major teaching hospitals.
‘We’re certainly going to be busy!’, Director Fiona Chambers told us. ‘SV24-7 works hard to stay abreast of continuously changing technological, health and dietary tastes and consumer requirements through our vending machines. The wide ranges of machines we supply are sourced from the top vending machine manufacturers in the industry. That means we have at our disposal some the newest models and technology on the market.

Cemented Relationships
‘On top of that, over the years we’ve cemented relationships with leading brands. Firms such as Walkers, Nestle, Mars and Coca Cola, are right behind us, meaning we can offer all your classic favourites. We also cater for niche consumers and offer selected products that are new to the market’, Fiona said.
SV 24/7 is building a solid reputation in central Scotland, having recently won the ‘Success Through Sustainability Award’ at the Clackmannanshire Business Awards and this new contractcan only add to the company’s growing kudos.
‘Due to the nature of our businesses operations here at SV24-7 waste is generated on a daily basis’ Fiona said. ‘In order to dispose of it in the safest and most environmentally friendly way possible, we decided to make use of a local recycling company, Ace Recycling Group CiC. Ace visit us on a weekly basis to collect our general waste and recyclable waste to dispose of correctly. Our entire team get involved with the recycling process, separating the waste and preparing it for collection.’
We bet that played its part in convincing the awards jury…
