It has been brought to our attention that a company called ‘Exhibition Housing Management’ has been contacting a number of our exhibitors claiming to represent AVEX and offering assistance with exhibitor registration and hotel bookings.
After contacting the company and reading reviews on the internet, we can only conclude that this is a scam. They seemingly harass exhibitors of conferences and shows until they sign with them and then do not follow through on the bookings.
If anyone has supplied any personal details to this company then please contact your bank and the police immediately.
Unfortunately, it appears Exhibition Housing Management is targeting the companies that are listed as exhibitors and have done this to many shows and conferences over the years.
The only booking agent we have appointed for AVEX 2015 is Zibrant and they have NOT been given any exhibitor information. The only way to arrange bookings with them is to contact them directly through our online booking form.
