Geoff Turner of Care Vending: Funeral Arrangements And Tribute

…from Stephanie Ingram

‘It is with great sadness that I write to advise you that Geoff Turner of Care Vending passed away last week after a long battle with cancer. I received a note from his son Daniel Turner, Managing Director of Care Vending.

Geoff Turner: ‘a real gentleman’.

‘Geoff spent over 40 years in the vending industry.  His early days were spent working for Mars in Slough and eventually he set up his own operated vending business with Care Vending Services Ltd.  He was always passionate about Vending and even in the last few months would come into the office each week to catch up with the team. He was also a very keen supporter of the Cover Group collective of vending operators.

‘Geoff’s funeral will take place on:

‘Thurs 15th June  @ 1.15pm at
Harwood Park Crematorium,
Watton Rd, Stevenage, SG2 8XT.

‘It will be a celebration of Geoff’s life and not a religious ceremony and the family have asked that anyone attending please feel free to wear bright colours.

‘The ceremony is to be followed by food and drink at Stevenage Golf and Conference Centre, Aston Lane, Stevenage, Herts SG2 7EL.

‘Floral tributes are welcome or alternatively donations to Cancer Research UK greatly appreciated.

‘Any funeral enquiries please to Austin’s Family Funeral Directors
·         21 High Street
·         Stevenage
·         Hertfordshire
·         SG1 3BG
·         Telephone: 01438 316623

‘Daniel will appreciate it if anyone planning to attend the ceremony and the get together afterwards lets him know.

‘I knew Geoff for many years, a real gentleman!’
