Fresh Milk Machine Wins VASA Award for Rhea Vendors at VendExpo in Moscow

Fresh Milk Machine: Rhea Vendors has won the Vending & Automated Services Award, (VASA), which celebrates the most innovative products in the Vending sector, for the second year in a row, Rhea Vendors’ Fresh Milk Machine was judged the best technological solution in the Technical Device category. The prize was awarded by an international jury, including the European Vending Association, on the occasion of VendExpo, the vending fair that opened on 23 March in Moscow.

The new machine allows users to offer cappuccinos and beverages with both hot and cold fresh milk. In keeping with emerging lifestyle trends, it can also use non-dairy milks to prepare a vegan cappuccino or latte macchiato.

the steam is generated by the same heat that’s used to brew the drink

One of the most notable features of the new Rhea Fresh Milk Machine is its use of Varitherm induction technology, which steam-heats the fresh milk. The system does not inject steam into the milk, as the heating is indirect, which means that beverages are not diluted. What’s more, it saves energy; because the steam is generated by the same heat that’s used to brew the drink. Rhea Fresh Milk Machine makes it possible to prepare drinks with three different levels of foam, adjustable according to customer preferences.

The maintenance, hygiene, and safety of the new product is ensured by an automatic rinsing cycle that can be set after each dispensing or every 2 minutes and by an automatic daily sanitizing cycle.

“This award recognizes Rhea’s commitment to innovation, quality, and design”, said Natalia Tischenko, General Manager of Rhea Vendors East. “The Fresh Milk Machine, thanks also to Varitherm induction technology, allows you to satisfy different preferences for cappuccino and milk-based drinks, guaranteeing high in-cup quality and a more efficient use of energy. Rhea machines offer consumer experiences for an international audience but with 100% Italian reliability and quality.”
