Venditalia 2014 has consolidated the event’s status as Europe’s Foremost Vending Event.
Venditalia 2014 was a ‘biggy’, and the Milan event has consolidated its position as Europe’s pre-eminent vending industry event:
- 27,000 square meters of exhibition space
- 250 exhibitors, (20% of which are based outside Italy)
- Delegates from over 90 countries; notably, a significant increase in operators from Eastern Europe and Latin America.
Lucio Pinetti, President of Venditalia and CONFIDA – Italian Vending Association, said: ‘The vending industry is robust and growing, among the few industries still able to maintain employment and to contribute,

through years of economic recession, to support the national economic system. All this, unfortunately, only thanks to the investments made by companies that, instead of being supported as they deserve, are the target of constant penalizing rules and subject to an incomprehensible credit crunch. The lack of government intervention that will release financial resources and the short-sightedness of the banking system threatens to cause material injury to an industry that is an excellence of Made in Italy, as much appreciated abroad as neglected in Italy.’
And we thought we had it bad in the UK. (Recognise the ‘penalising rules’ bit though, Lucio.)
Venditalia took the opportunity to launch details of next year’s ‘Special Edition’ event: 3 to 6 May 2015, in the week of the inauguration of the World Fair.
Make a note.
