An interactive and educational feature aimed at the emerging artisan and micro roasting scene. Showcasing farmers from leading specialty regions, green bean suppliers right through to roasting, grinding and packaging equipment manufacturers, The Roasting Room will also have a dedicated programme of talks and demos from some of Europe’s leading coffee roasters
The Victoria Arduino Experience
Challenge your taste buds and knowledge of coffee by taking part in the Victoria Arduino Experience brought to you by VA Machinery, a new multi sensory feature coming to Caffè Culture for 2019. Multiple challenges, all based around controllable variables, but only one correct answer.
Talks Programme
As part of our Talks Programme, ‘Coffee Studies (2019)’ sponsored by iZettle will bring together an eclectic and distinguished mix of specialty coffee experts, sharing their personal insights and opinions in a ‘Ted’ style format. With an equally impressive line-up, the ‘Caffè Business’ and ‘Start Up’ Theatre complete the programme by revealing the essential steps to building and expanding businesses of all sizes and at different stages of their respective journeys.
Caffè Culture Barista Competitions
There will be two SCA UK Barista Competitions at Caffè Culture.
* The London Heat of the United Kingdom Cup Tasters Championships 2020.
* The London Heat of the United Kingdom Barista Championships 2020.
Taking place over two days, contestants will battle it out in front of a live audience in what will be two tense and dramatic competitions.
The Tea Brewers Championship
Caffè Culture is delighted to be partnering with the UK Tea Academy this year to host the 2nd heat of the Tea Brewers Championship, with the semi’s and final taking place at the inaugural London Tea Show in 2020. The competitions include a Classic Brewing and Tasting Skills session, and a Signature Drink session.
The Cupping Zone
Brand new this year we have The Cupping Zone sponsored by Mavam, this area will host some unbelievable roasters from around the UK and we’re so excited to taste what these roasters currently have on offer. This space will be open to everyone and we highly encourage complete beginners to come and have a slurp! (Don’t worry you’ll see).
