‘Bursting at the Seams’ – North West Vending Keeps On Growing…

St. Helen’s based North West Vending has added two sales professionals to its burgeoning Business Development team. Paul Webb, (41), and Amy Gallagher, (24), have joined the company as Business Development Managers, each with a brief to expand the client list of one of the country’s longest established and best respected vending businesses.

Then there were five…

The appointments are the latest evidence of North West Vending’s continuing success, increasing its sales team to five.  ‘We’re bursting at the seams at the office’, Sales Manager Paula Bentley acknowledged, ‘because as our portfolio of customers grows, we have to grow with it. Opportunities are increasingly coming our way these days and we really needed high-quality, professional reinforcements to do justice to them. In Amy and Paul, that’s what we’ve got.’

The newcomers have impressive track records in capital equipment negotiations, but both are new to the vending industry. ‘That was a conscious decision’, Paula said. ‘Our business tends to emerge at the conclusion of a consultation process rather than a sales pitch. We need people who are good listeners, who can understand a customer’s requirements and address them with a bespoke solution that works.

‘Paul and Amy fit the bill perfectly, Paula said. ‘They’re extremely polished and professional, but more than that, they’re warm and approachable too; so we’ve every confidence that they’ll continue, with new customers, the North West Vending tradition of providing ‘the personal touch’. That’s been the keystone of our success.’

‘An exciting time.’

For forty years, North West Vending has been providing customers large and small with anything from a single water cooler, to a fully automated staff restaurant. Additionally, in recent years the company has introduced a speciality division, Coffee 1652, which brings a premium ‘High Street’ coffee experience within the reach of customers in the corporate, education and leisure sectors.

‘It’s definitely an exciting time for new recruits to be joining us’, said Managing Director Mike Cowley. ‘We have very high hopes for them both and it’s great to welcome Paul and Amy to our team’, he said.
