At NIVO’s annual Supplier of the Year 2015 Awards event in Leeds on 16th March, Westomatic MD Richard Brinsley, pictured above with Graham Kingaby, accepted a prestigious and unexpected ‘Special Recognition’ award.

Mr. Kingaby, MD of NIVO said of the award, “We wanted to present this award in recognition of Richard being an industry stalwart, who has always worked hard to innovate. Westomatic has, at the direction of Richard, stolen a lead on several occasions over the years and they continue to innovate to this day. We congratulate Richard for decades of commitment to our industry and we are delighted to present the Special Recognition Award to him.”

IMG_4929sRichard started at Westomatic in 1966, the company’s founding year. ‘I’m honoured to have been recognised by NIVO with this award’, he said, ‘and I am especially grateful that it is based on customer service and innovation in the industry; the two things that I feel are Westomatic’s strong points. Graham’s kind words regarding the innovation shown by Westomatic are more prudent than ever in an industry that is moving quickly to keep up with technological advancements. Westomatic is still as committed as ever to innovative ideas and technological advancements and, with this in mind, the business has some very exciting months ahead in our 50th year.

The whole team at Westomatic congratulate Richard on this well-deserved industry award and are very proud to have him leading the business with such passion and experience. As the business grows and finds new ways to structure amidst growing sales, the legacy and importance of the company’s past, alongside Richard’s past and present role, is a unique and wonderful basis for the future of Westomatic.
