Bluetooth communication to retrieve audit data in Vending machines is increasingly being adopted across European markets, according to SUZOHAPP.
‘The Currenza C2 Bluetooth version provides Bluetooth communication as an alternative to the traditional IrDa technology that is also available within the Currenza C2 product range’, said Nick Norris, SUZOHAPP Sales and Technical Manager Vending UK & Ireland. ‘Bluetooth on Currenza C2 allows the use on much modern and low cost handheld solutions including Smartphones for sales data retrieval from coin changers’ he said.
The Currenza C2 Bluetooth model is available in Green and Blue versions with single or dual machine interface protocols.
‘The Currenza C2 range is the only 6 tubes coin changer in the market with PRP (Payout Redundancy Protection) that secures coins payout and reduces machine downtime’, Nick said.
SUZOHAPP also announces the arrival of a new bill validation solution. Designed specifically for the world of Vending, the new New X7P bill validator model added to the “Bill-in” series is now available.
‘The X7P is equipped with SCS, or self-centering system, an innovative wide-angle banknote insertion technology able to offer superior acceptance rate’, Nick said. ‘The SCS system is based on a controlled independent speed of each of the belts taking the bills on the right path through the validation sensors. The outstanding design allows providing very high degree of immunity to strong ambient light, while the mechanical and optical anti-fishing protection guarantees high security levels. The built-in USB port allows firmware updates via USB pen drive.
‘Other important features include electronics protection for outdoor application’, Nick said, ‘IrDa port for firmware updates; MDB-FTL for on-line firmware updates (bills library), dip switch for the selection of notes accepted, auto-calibration technology and multi-color optical sensors, MTBF 300,000 cycles, stacker for 200 and 400 notes and power saving function for battery operated machines.’
