John Ferguson, Chair of AVS, has announced the appointment of Louise (Lou) Cummings to the position of AVS General Manager. Lou succeeds Rob Cowley, who left the organisation in October 2014.
John told PV: ‘Lou is a most exciting appointment from outside the industry. She’s a lady with bags of personality whose career experience in the horticultural and agricultural seed industry encompassed a wide range of organisational skill sets, in Operations, Logistics and Procurement.’
Lou, who lives in Birmingham, will commence her new role mid-January, based from the AVS Office in Tamworth.
