AVA Boss David Llewellyn is on the money today, sharing news that will be welcomed by many of his members.
The Government has today announced a new wave of Grant Funding to support businesses in England. In addition to the £425 million added to the Additional Restrictions Grants scheme, effective from 1st April.
From today, businesses in England in the non-essential retail sector will be eligible for one-off grants of up to £6,000, while businesses in the hospitality (including foodservice, catering & vending), accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym sectors, which are reopening later, will be eligible for one-off grants of up to £18,000. The £5 billion of government funding available through the Restart Grants scheme will be delivered by local authorities.
