At Last! Vendman wins an Auto Vending Innovation Award

It’s been a long time coming, but last night’s success tasted so much sweeter for the wait. That Vendman’s astonishing achievements in recent years had not been recognised with an award win, had become the source of some regret to Rob Little, Daniel Hamby and the Vendman staff.

Presiding over his table at the Awards dinner at The Imperial War Museum North, Rob had joked about the table’s proxiity to the rostrum: ‘it means we’ve won’; meanwhile, Sales Manager Steve Reynolds was more pessimistic. ‘They’ll never give it to us’, he said, unhappily.

Rob’s instincts were vindicated, and as the result was read out by Auto Vending E publisher Phil Reynolds, the Vendman table erupted. Rob made his way to the stage to collect the handsome trophy, but had to insist that the more recalcitrant Daniel joined him to share the limelight.

‘It was a wonderful feeling to win at last’, Rob said. ‘Lets hope that it’s the first of many awards that are coming our way.’
