Venditalia 2016 was a good one for Coges, in terms of both visitors to the stand and interest in the new products presented, the company reports. The star of the show was Pay4Vend, the ‘revolutionary’ app for smartphones that enables purchases from vending machines, achieving a new level of interaction between the operator and the end customer. Pay4Vend works anywhere, without Internet connection and allows operators to plan promotions, offers and advertising by sending them directly to the user’s phone.
The other big news that aroused interest was the new E.C.S. Air, a MDB cashless system small in size but equipped with all the essential functions of a vending operation, compatible with both MyKey proprietary cashless keys and Mifare technology (fobs, tags, stickers, cards, etc.). E.C.S. Air is an integrated device that connects directly to the vending machine or to a master change-giver coin mechanism. It comes with an exclusive anti removal system that locks the device making it useless in the event of tampering or forced removal of the cashless system from the vending machine
